Clergy Renewal Grant Survey

Lilly Endowment Clergy Renewal Programs

Hello Church Family! We need your input on this important survey. The Fountain is pursuing a $60K Clergy Renewal Grant from the Lilly Endowment. The submission is due mid march. If the Fountain is awarded this grant, Joshua and Debbie will be granted around $40K to be on sabbatical for 3 months, and the other roughly $20K will be granted to the congregation for renewal activities during this same time period. If awarded, we will be notified in October 2026, and the sabbatical will begin the summer of 2027.

The Lilly Endowment provides these grants to congregations all over the US each year because they recognize the need for pastors to replenish their spiritual reservoirs and regain energy and strength for their calling. Sabbath rest includes time for pastors to renew themselves physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. The Lilly Endowment believes in the profound importance of pastoral ministry, not only to the people directly served, but also to the larger community and society.

To this end, we the Fountain family, would love to support this unique opportunity for sabbatical for the Hahn’s, as well as renewal time and activities for our congregation. Congregational support is an important part of the grant process, and thus your participation in this survey becomes a part of the grant submission. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and insights!
